Meet April Lewis

Founder of Duval Babes and a passionate community builder, April Lewis is on a mission to plant seeds of growth, connection, and empowerment for women across Duval County and beyond. Based in Jacksonville, April created Duval Babes as the space she once needed—a safe, supportive circle where women could show up fully, share freely, and rise together.

With a heart for healing and a drive for impact, April believes in the power of women uplifting each other. Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur, a creative spirit, or simply seeking sisterhood, she’s here to guide, inspire, and build alongside you.

Duval Babes is a dynamic women’s empowerment collective rooted in healing, hustling, and happiness. What began as a safe space has grown into a thriving movement of 40+ women showing up for each other, building community, and creating legacy.


We are women healing together, hustling with purpose, and finding joy along the way. Whether you're an entrepreneur, creative, student, mother—or simply seeking genuine connection—Duval Babes is a space to feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Our mission is to uplift through shared experiences, candid conversations, and local events centered around wellness, business, self-worth, and legacy-building.

 Duval Babes is a women led empowerment community based in Duval County, FL. We focus on connection, collaboration, and personal growth through events, meetups, wellness activities, and support initiatives.

 Any woman who wants to connect, grow, and contribute to a supportive sisterhood is welcome whether you’re an entrepreneur, creative, mom, student, or just looking for like-minded women. 

 Click the “Join Us” button on the homepage. Fill out the quick interest form and a team member will follow up with next steps. 

Currently, there is no required membership fee. However, some events or workshops may have a cost to cover materials, venue, or special experiences.

Absolutely! We love seeing new faces. Some events may have limited space, so make sure to RSVP in advance for both you and your guest.

 You can make a donation via our Donate page. Contributions help us organize events, support local causes, and uplift our community. 

Most of our events are curated for women 18+, but we occasionally host family-friendly or mommy-and-me events. Be sure to check event details for specifics.
